Baby Photography: Norfolk family at home with a new baby

It was a pleasure to revisit a client who’d added a new addition to their household recently in the shape of a bouncing baby boy. Last time I’d visited had been to take some studio style shots of the family with their first daughter and on this occasion again I took some studio style shots for them before moving onto some more natural lifestyle photographs.

The session itself had plenty of breaks for the younger members of the family to feed and have a bit of a cuddle with mum before taking some more photographs. Home sessions are definitely better with very young children and babies as the home gives parents every comfort and comforter close to hand and is a familiar environment for young eyes.

We had great fun and it was heartwarming to see the new relationship that this little lad has with his elder sister who seemed just a little bit happy to have a younger brother to play with.

A little bit of teething trauma took place toward the end of my time with the family but by being patient and close to hand we still managed to catch some nice expressions between the short grisly episodes associated with teething.
