If you’re spending time in the beautiful county of Norfolk on holiday, or you live here and are looking for somewhere for a relaxed photographic opportunity you can’t get much better than Brancaster beach.
On a very hot sunny day last summer I headed to Brancaster beach early to meet up with a young family for a relaxed and natural portrait session with two boys and their parents. By the time we’d finished the beach was packed with lots of people enjoying the sun, when we arrived it was quiet: but either way being a Norfolk beach there was plenty of room for everyone.
The boys jumped off sand dunes, flew kites with mum and dad, jumped through the waves, ran down the beach, got piggy back rides from mum and dad, posed for some photographs individually and almost obliged with photos with the parents 🙂
It was hot but joyous, I love my job, knowing now that the photographs have been given as presents to others amongst other things but essentially we caught a bit of the sand that falls through the years, put it in a frame so that these family members can look back and enjoy a few hours they had on a beautiful Norfolk beach.
