I’ve started both socially distanced full portrait sessions now with small family groups and my doorstep family photographs. The doorstep family portraits are designed to capture this strange time that we’ve found ourselves in where many of us have spent lots of quality family time at home (unless that is we’re one of the many key workers keeping everything ticking to whom everyone else owes a lot of thanks and appreciation).
Lets face it 2020 isn’t going to be a year that many forget too soon and hence it’s a great time to record how your family were at this time and where better to do it when we’re encouraged to stay at home as much as possible than on our doorsteps, the place where we’ve clapped for carers, where we’ve put our rainbows in support of key workers and where each time we’ve headed out we’ve been more mindful of what it is to leave our home.
My sessions are a short session designed to capture some lovely images, personalities, and are fully designed for posterity as I like to include a bit of the detail of this time where I can. The sessions cost £25 and this will include a donation of £5 being made to a great Norfolk charity helping those with learning difficulties called “About with Friends”. I was first introduced to the charity About with Friends in my commercial work when I was asked to produce some photographs of the different aspects of their work. I was and still am amazed by the work they do both in creating great work places for those with learning difficulties, to providing them with fun activities, training and support. Please do check out their work and if you’re ever in Cromer check out their shop and cafe all in the town’s centre.
If you’d like to book a doorstep family portrait session please feel free to get in touch. I should be running these until the start of the summer holidays if all goes well, below are a few examples of sessions so far 🙂
