I’ve continued with the doorstep portraits recently, they’re a perfect fit for the strange year that is 2020. They record family, relationships and home, all more greatly appreciated this year, and they record what will become and what has been a remarkable time in the world’s and our own recent history. From each of these sessions I’ve been saving up a contribution of £5 to a great Norfolk Charity who help those with learning difficulties thrive in the community: About with Friends. I’ve witnessed the charity’s work first hand and it’s exemplary, if I could I’d volunteer for them as their work is that life affirming.
My doorstep portrait sessions are running until the 10th of July at which time I’ll probably change their format. It’s been great to visit people at their homes to photograph them during a short session. Easy to fit in around normal life these sessions have been a little hiatus that will preserve memories of this year for many years to come.
If you’d like to book a session get in touch, or look out for further sessions later in the summer.
