Fairhaven Woodland and Water garden: Norfolk Family Photographer

There’s a lot to love about Norfolk as the family in this shoot came to appreciate on a short visit, and arguably a lot to love about being a Norfolk family photographer. I met up with this family whilst they were on holiday in the Norfolk Broads area, known locally as Broadland. They wanted to get some family shots, and had done their website research, and as they had a young child they didn’t want to stray too far from their holiday home for their shoot.

I was looking for a family, child and dog friendly venue in Broadland one that has stunning views, shade on summer days and a welcoming and friendly attitude. Fairhaven Woodland and Water Gardens was the ideal fit, with all this and lovely woodlands to boot. I met up with the family in the carpark and after paying entry to Fairhaven we then took advantage of a shady and beautiful walk through the gardens and down to the Broad.

It was great fun, getting to know everyone, seeing everyone dote on the youngest member of the family and the family pets, finding shady spots, baby’s smiles, and more among the primulas, rhodedendrons and giant Gunnera plants of the garden.
