I’m a lucky guy. I get to meet lovely families, have great fun photographing them, get to know them, and then get asked to do it all again. I love repeat custom, and get asked to photograph a great many family’s almost on a yearly basis. A rapport develops, not only do I know names, and faces, but I know a particular sense of humour, adventure, and fun, and that’s just in the adults.
A recent session saw me revisiting Bacton Woods, a great large wood near North Walsham, with lots of variety in it’s woodland environment, plenty of space for adventure and fun. Commissioned by the grandmother of this lovely family we headed into the woods for some fun. Along the way we found tiny baby frogs, dragged a little dead wood around with us just for fun, ran through pine plantations, posed for couples photographs, pulled faces, and natural faces, found natural moments and fun moments and captured them all. Shared radio listening recommendations, chatted, had a great time recording a bit more precious family life. Then as is now the tradition the family had a picnic and I joined them for some lovely tea and cake 🙂
Great fun, I hope you like some of the not so serious and more natural photographs of this great bunch. I’m a happy family photographer.
