It’s been a while since I did this shoot as I write this blog about family photography at home. I’m looking at the photographs I’m about to post of a lovely family who I’ve now had the pleasure of photographing quite a few times and well quite frankly it’s lovely.
I get to revisit a lovely afternoon, laugh at some of the expressions and joyfully remember the process/chaos that sometimes comes with being a family photographer. It’s lovely to get to know people, to enjoy photographing their growing families, to be welcomed like a friend and to be trusted to record precious family moments and life for the present and future.
I’m glad to say I get to do it a lot, I’ve got many clients who I see time and time again. They get the benefit of someone they know and trust and I get the benefit of having people in front of the camera who are comfortable in front of the camera and can forgive my now famous “renaming” of people with a completely random name that my mind makes up and sticks with 😉
I love being outdoors, am a little obsessed with camera tech on occasion and quality of lenses, but most of all love recording a bit of people’s lives for them, get in touch if you’d like a portrait session.
