Transatlantic guests, a 50th wedding anniversary, an invite to photograph the 60th anniversary-what more needs to be said about a great family session at the very beautiful Hall Farmhouse in Oxborough, Norfolk.
I’ll admit I was a few minutes late to this session, I’d zeroed in on another Hall Farmhouse in a neighbouring village, it wasn’t open for business as a luxury holiday let, so I had to find the right place quickly and wow, Hall Farmhouse is another lovely place to stay in Norfolk.
I arrived to a family biding their time completing a cross-word in a large country kitchen. With the weather looking a little dodgy at times we opted to wait for a rain cloud that was slowly dropping great blobs of water on the garden to pass before setting of outdoors around the large village pond opposite the Farmhouse. After a stroll around, feeding the ducks and a quick visit to the local playground for the kids we returned to the house to take some more photographs and celebrate a very special couples 50th anniversary. 50 years is quite an achievement and I’m seeing more and more such wedding anniversary’s in my family photography work. It’s great to see grandparents celebrating with all the generations of their family, watching their family grow happily and enjoying the occasion.
I had a great time, heard how good the pool was at the property, had a lovely cup of tea or two and photographed a loving couple and their lovely family, I hope you like some of the photographs.
