My fine art portrait photography is concentrated upon capturing individuals or siblings rather than whole families. The idea is that I concentrate all my attention during a session on providing high quality portraits of an individual and that this allows me to use equipment designed for individual portraits. I also select portrait session timings and locations based on producing individual portraits in the best natural lighting available in beautiful locations.
Fine Art Portrait sessions can take place at any point in the year. The height of the summer and the depths of winter both lend themselves to this type of portrait session as the focus is less on the natural scenery as a whole and more on small details of this, and the quality of the natural light. Summer evenings and Winters mornings are equally as beautiful for this type of photography.
For these sessions I recommend a single subject, and these sessions can be used for capturing beautiful images of your children or as a great way to obtain images for a modelling portfolio. I hope you like a few examples of my fine art portrait photography sessions below.
