"On Location" family photography and potrait photography is relaxed and natural. It’s a great way to record your family, you as a couple, and important life events like the birth of a new baby, a family gathering and time spent relaxing on holiday. Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire where I do a majority of my lifestyle family photography sessions have great outdoor locations for shoots which combine a little relaxation with your photography.

As far as locations for outdoor portrait photography sessions, there are beaches which are great all year round whether you prefer sun blessed summer shoots or wrapped up warm sunny winter shoots. Woodlands that provide great spring colour shoots, shady summer shoots and brilliant autumnal colour sessions. Then there’s some great parks and parkland which again provide lovely scenery, a great walk and plenty of opportunities for photographs.

I like to incorporate a little bit of a walk into my outdoor portrait photography sessions if suitable as this gives you opportunities to have photographs in varied locations, gives us a chance to take advantage of natural landscapes, helps you relax, and where you have young people involved gives them adventure and fun which is great for natural photographs.
