Norfolk is a favourite holiday location for families and there’s no disguising why, nice beaches, lovely food, friendly locals and beautiful countryside there’s no room for complaint particularly when the weather is good which it is practically always 🙂
The Isle of Sky was just one of the locations this family journeyed from for their get together and holiday. For the children there was the opportunity to meet their new cousin and it looked to me as though they were all a little happy to meet her and generally make a fuss of her. For the grandparents there was a chance to mess about with the whole family, reminisce a little (I’m afraid I asked which of their children had proven the most difficult), and enjoy a little time together under Norfolk’s huge sky.
The beach was busy so we headed into some pine woodlands for shade and cool and playing about taking some lovely portraits of the children with their parents and grandparents. It wasn’t long before we visited the beach and sought a little shade beside some beach huts, and also looked for some beach hut chic locations for a few more portraits.
Particularly memorable parts of this lifestyle portrait session included the joy of one young man when he was asked to hold his young baby cousin for a photograph, and a rather ‘full on’ kiss between grandparents that had what I think was the desired effect in making their grown up daughter run away down the beach leading to much mirth on the behalf of the mischievous grandparents.
Great times and I hope you enjoy some photographs from a sunny day on a Norfolk beach.
