I've always loved the outdoors and appreciate it even more when I get to see how much more relaxed we are when we're walking through a wood, on a beach, or just messing around in a garden. I think without doubt that portrait sessions outdoors usually are the best option for young children and a tonic for most adults.

As a father of a young family I also appreciate how a childhood home or grandparent's home changes just as much as those that grow up in and around them and these are the next best thing when it comes to family sessions particularly with babies. I spend my time seeing toys long since recycled in my own children's images and clothes long since given away to another family.

Of course holiday homes are also high on my list, they're places we go to be rested and relaxed and with our families. I could tell you about all the lovely food I've seen being prepared at family gatherings and holiday homes but it'd make your mouths water.

My photographic style, it's about relaxation, it's about encouraging adventure, allowing little legs to run until they're ready to stop and have that hug, about people breathing in and enjoying themselves, being together.
