Norfolk Event Photography-Family Birthday Party Photography

In addition to my lifestyle portraits of families, children and babies I also photograph events like family get togethers, anniversary parties and family birthday parties. This year I’ve had the pleasure of photographing several 90th birthday parties of some truly lovely and deserving people who have reached this milestone and have wonderful families to enjoy it with.

One such party took place in Aylsham at a wonderful Bed & Breakfast there called The Pump House. The whole back garden of the house had been prepared for a lovely afternoon of celebrations that were to include some great dancing led by the birthday boy himself, a wonderful afternoon tea complete with cucumber sandwiches and cup cakes of many types, a lovely timeline of all the years of the gentleman’s life and of course a wonderful cake shaped as a VW camper van in homage to the gentleman’s love of camper vans. Sadly despite enjoying the few hours I spent photographing the party I had to leave before what I can only imagine was the main event. Food preparation of epic proportions during the rest of the party were I felt about to be eclipsed by the contents of not one but three BBQ’s cooking up dinner for the party that evening. It would seem that the owners of The Pump House don’t skimp on producing brilliant food and I do believe that my mouth is still watering having only glimpsed the beautiful food that those BBQ’s were going to produce.
