The home environment can often be a very relaxed location for portrait photography at home and is particularly good for young children particularly if you want home comforts at hand. A recent portrait session saw me visiting a young lady at her home from home i.e.; her grandparent’s house to photograph her with her older cousins. The weather was unfortunately a bit on the damp side and we weren’t able to reschedule the session but we worked around the rain showers and still managed to get out in the garden for some photographs before being forced back inside for some more candid portraits of the family enjoying themselves.
The little lady enjoyed playing with some of her toys, posing with mum and dad for cuddles, playing with her cousins and crawling around outdoors during the dry spell of weather before a game of hide and seek around Grandmother’s kitchen. It was again a really relaxed way to photograph the family and record a little snippet of a one year old’s life with her family.
I hope you enjoy some of the photographs.
