Old Hunstanton Photographer: Family Photography

Old Hunstanton is without doubt one of my favourite Norfolk beaches, time and time again I fall in love with walking through the small village of beach huts at the back of the beach not to mention the multi-coloured cliffs and the beach itself which are great.

A recent family session centred on producing some photographs for a proud mum and grandmother to enjoy as a birthday present. Said grandmother wasn’t actually present at the beach and instead her sons, their partners and a very cheerful granddaughter met me on the beach so I could hopefully produce a photograph fit for presenting to mum for her birthday. It was a hot sunny day which was great as all three brothers had travelled quite a distance between them to be in Norfolk for the weekend.

Although the aim was to get a photograph of everyone, it’s not advisable to miss the opportunity to celebrate a relatively new family and two wonderful additional couples during a family session so I took the opportunity to produce lots of photographs of the group whilst they enjoyed the sunny weather and the lovely peaceful beach and multi-coloured beach hut village. It was a lovely session relaxed and very entertaining both for and because of the presence of a certain little lady who loved the attention of the camera and her mum, dad, aunts and uncles. With a smile at every opportunity the little lady concerned returned the attention she was receiving with more than adequate entertainment for both me as photographer and her family.
