I love nature, I love photography, so getting out and about with families to photograph them in beautiful natural settings is my idea of heaven. I’m also lucky enough to be a long time Norfolk resident having moved here back in the late 90’s and know that this county is blessed with lots of lovely spaces and places to photograph families. Whether it’s woodlands, beaches, parkland or all of these you’ll find somewhere to produce some photographic memories: and on this occasion it was the sea salty environs of Wells next the Sea.
Being a dad of a young family myself, I appreciate how important every single photograph we take of our family is, so it’s really great to give a family several hours to relax, unwind and enjoy being themselves in front of the camera. It allows you to capture everyone, together, individually and even allows you to get mums and dads together for quick snuggles on their own! Getting outdoors is perfect for kids, they can explore, let their imagination run riot and run around to their hearts content and the best thing of all is that they don’t feel confined, are constantly interested and hence photography becomes a painless and fun experience 🙂
On this occasion it was great to revisit people I’ve photographed before, produce more photographs for them and to see them enjoy themselves with their family. We headed to the woods, to the beach and ran around, sat around and generally had a whale of a time. It was difficult selecting just a few photographs to represent the shoot for this blog post but I hope you like them.
